Tips for When Your Car Won’t Start
Nobody wins when your car won’t start. We completely understand the frustration. While there are many problems that can prevent your car from starting, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the problem.
You should probably start by checking the battery because that is one of the most common causes of a car that won’t start. To do this, all you need to do is turn the key in the ignition and see if you can turn on the headlights. If they turn on, the battery isn’t the problem.
If your headlights don’t turn on, pull out the jumper cables and get your car jump-started. While you’re at it, you should probably check the connections on your car battery to make sure they are clean.
If jump-starting your car worked, congratulations! You should probably take your car to have the car battery replaced in the near future because it is probably on its last legs.
However, if these tips didn’t work, your car probably has a more serious problem. We recommend that you call to have it towed to a nearby service center to be diagnosed and fixed.
